National Security Counselors, a DC area public interest law firm, is accepting applications from JD and LLM students for a legal intern for the fall 2012 semester. For information about NSC, please visit http://www.nationalsecuritylaw.org.
The legal intern’s responsibilities and experience will include factual and legal research and writing for a variety of types of cases, summarizing documents obtained from the government for publication, developing and submitting grant applications, and other legal support work as necessary.
The position requires approximately 15-25 hours per week, but is mostly a telecommuting position on your own time; although, some in-person work time is required. The position is unpaid, but academic credit may be available depending on your school’s requirements.
