Kushner Office Sued For FOIA Violations

Food and Water Watch and Democracy Forward have filed suit against the Office of American Innovation (OAI) for ignoring the groups FOIA requests sent to it since its creation last year.  OAI is the office in the White House that is headed by son in law Jared Kushner.  This lawsuit will test the issue concerning what White House Offices are subject to the FOIA; obviously the current incumbent will not want to give any transparency to an office headed by his current son-in-law.  More on the lawsuit can be found here.
