CNN reports that the government has moved for summary judgment in the ACLU's lawsuit seeking information on authorization for targeted drone killings. The government says that releasing the information would harm the government's counterterrorism efforts.
I always wonder about things of this nature. I've heard dozens of news stories report on things that I would expect the military needs to keep quiet due to terrorism. There have been stories in the past detailing where we're about to send military troops and what their plans of action entail, and I've always thought that's incredibly telling to the "bad guys" and gives them time to plan a counterattack.
