The Hill reports that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is suing the USDA for animal welfare records that were once publicly posted on the USDA website. USDA was previously sued over its change in policy over the public posting of the documents but a court found that the records could individually be requested under the FOIA. PETA made the requests and USDA has sat on them for months. This delay caused PETA to file suit yesterday. PETA has more on the suit here.
