The Daily Dot has this on a rule NASA has made up to deny FOIA requests. Some requesters submit their requests via an online submission tool, Muckrock. Muckrock uses its address as the requester address. NASA has decided, without any statutory basis, to deny these requests where the address of Muckrock is used rather than the specific address of the requester.
With no current actual oversight of FOIA operations at the Executive and Legislative branch level, agencies are being creative in their ways to block transparency and FOIA requests.
