The Blog of the Legal Times reports that Judge Royce Lamberth of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia has ordered the Department of Justice to provide him with copies of the sealed records in the Watergate case along with their justifications why this material should not be disclosed to the public. DOJ had previously argued that because there is no constitutional or legal right to access the material should not be the subject of any discretionary disclosure.
